Bringing the Love of Christ to Sand Lake and Communities for over 220 years

Welcome to Sand Lake Baptist Church
Experience the warmth of community at Sand Lake Baptist Church. Join us each Sunday at 10 am for Bible Study and then at 11 am for Church Service. All are welcome!
Bit of History
Sand Lake Baptist Church was built in 1805 as the first union meeting house established for Protestant worship. In addition, it is Sand Lake's oldest public building. We are proud to say that Sand Lake Baptist Church played an important role in freeing slaves as a member of the Underground Railroad.
Today, we continue to serve Sand Lake and our surrounding communities in various ways, all while maintaining worship through God’s inerrant word in the King James Bible as an Independent Baptist Church.
