Welcome!
Sand Lake Baptist Church was built in 1805 as the first union meeting house established for Protestant worship. In addition, it is Sand Lake's oldest public building. We are proud to say that Sand Lake Baptist Church played an important role in freeing slaves as a member of the Underground Railroad.
Today, we continue to serve Sand Lake and our surrounding communities in various ways, all while maintaining worship through God’s inerrant word in the King James Bible as an Independent Baptist Church.

The last song of the evening was led by: Pastor Chuck Mosher, Pastor Mike Miner, Pastor George Hadden, Deacon Peter Kleinke, Deacon Russ Chamberlain, Pastor Joshua MacIntyre, and Deacon Doug Post
Church & Picnic in the Park was a great success! A wonderful time of praise and fellowship was enjoyed by all four churches! Four speakers, an abundance of food, games of all types and live music filled the air! (Faces are blotted out to protect privacy!)
